Do you have an area of expertise in coaching that you would like to share with the chapter?  Are you doing cutting edge work in an organization or with individual clients that you want to share with other coaches? If so, we invite chapter members and others to submit a proposal to speak at a monthly chapter event. 

Who Attends our Events?

The Metro DC Chapter Members consists of almost 700 coaching professionals and is the largest ICF chapter in the US. Click here to see information about our member by role, level of experience, preferred topics & type of coaching.

What Types of Events Do We Hold?

  • Program: 75-90 minute evening session delivered in person in the Metro DC area usually on the third Tuesday or Thursday of the month.
  • Teleclass: 60 minute interactive session delivered via phone conference usually on the third Tuesday or Thursday of the month.


Why Present?

By sharing your expertise you will:

  • Network with other coaching professionals in the Metro DC area
  • Gain valuable speaking experience with an audience of like-minded professionals
  • Bring recognition to yourself and/or your organization
  • Further the discipline of coaching
  • Bring cutting edge topics to add to the coaching discussions


What Topics Are We Looking For?

Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and have various levels of experience.  We are looking for topics that maps to an area of the ICF Competency Model.

Our members have also indicated that their top interests are master coach demonstrations, "hot topic" authors, coach success discussions, coach training opportunities for credentialing, and local coaches with specific areas of expertise.  See our member profile for more details.
