Celebrate Success at Prism Luncheon

As coaches, we celebrate the excellence and achievements of our clients every day. Do you ever wish you could award your most successful clients? Wouldn’t it be great to acknowledge an organization for their commitment to coaching? With the 2010 Prism Award, that's exactly what we're going to do at our February 11 luncheon -- recognize and honor an organization that has championed the coaching profession.

Why a “prism”? A prism breaks light, transforming it into a spectrum of color. The Prism Award, presented annually by the ICF Metro DC Chapter, acknowledges the local organization that uses coaching to enhance the spectrum of human potential. The organization can be from the corporate, federal or not-for-profit sector. There are many local, leading-edge organizations that employ coaching programs for leadership development, goal achievement and business results. They understand the impact that coaching has on their success.

By awarding one organization each year, we elevate the entire coaching profession. The Prism Award benefits all coaches by:
•    Educating the public about the benefits of coaching
•    Demonstrating the availability of qualified coaches in the area
•    Raising the awareness of coaching as an enduring profession
•    Creating a demand for local coaches

The annual Prism Award Luncheon is on February 11, 2011. This wonderful day provides a forum to celebrate the winning organization and share their coaching achievement with the community. In addition, the lead coach will be honored for his or her contribution to the success of the organization as well as the coaching industry.
