Carolyn Thompson resides in the Washington, DC, area and has been an executive recruiter since 1988. She directs a large team of executive recruiters, talent acquisition and HR professionals at Dixon Hughes Goodman, LLP (www.dhgllp.com), providing client services to a wide range of industries including Big 4, Fortune 1000 companies and small business owners alike.
Carolyn is frequently called upon by national news organizations such as The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, CNN, MSNBC, and AOL Jobs among others to contribute content on a variety of topics. Her articles on career development, executive coaching, recruiting and the employment industry have been published in various national magazines, trade journals, and on the Internet.
A certified career coach and an enthusiastic motivational speaker, she regularly contributes her talents as a presenter for resume workshops and job fairs across the nation. Carolyn is a member of the National Speakers Association, the Pinnacle Society, the International Coach Federation and is certified by both the National Association of Personnel Services and the American Staffing Association as a continuing education provider.
