Michelle Buzgon is a coach, consultant, speaker and trainer who inspires her clients to tap into their strengths and challenges them to take charge of their lives. Michelle's passion is coaching others to translate their passions into a rich and fulfilling life. She's a consummate connector who thrives on bringing together people with common interests, similar concerns and shared purpose.

Michelle collaborates with individuals, groups and leadership teams, focusing on personal and professional development as well as organizational effectiveness. Her commitment to her clients' self-care comes through in everything she does because Michelle knows, without a doubt, that her clients have more to give to their work, their friends, and their families when they give generously to themselves.

She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach through The Coaches Training Institute and a graduate of Georgetown University's Organization Development program. Her professional affiliations include the International Coach Federation, American Society for Training & Development, and the Organization Development Network. In 2006, before being asked to serve on the ICF Metro DC chapter board, she was honored with the President's Award in recognition of her community-building efforts.

Michelle also designs and presents innovative literacy workshops to the parents and day-care providers of at-risk children in the DC area. As a mom to two young boys, including one with special needs, she spends many hours volunteering and coordinating projects in her sons' schools.

Before her career transition into coaching, she spent a decade as a news editor and manager, leading an award-winning staff and earning company recognition for managing change. She earned her degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
