We are very excited to announce our amazing key note speakers for the 2012 Capital Coaches Conference. Each speaker brings a rich, inspiring and powerful message aimed at expanding our thinking, learning and ourselves.
Alan Fine is author of You Already Know How to be Great, a performance coach and speaker who helps others eliminate what’s standing in the way of achieving goals. As a tennis coach early in his career, Alan realized that the biggest performance challenge wasn't that people didn't know what to do, but rather that they didn't do what they know. He believes performance breakthroughs come from the inside out. Fine and two other collaborators, Graham Alexander and Sir John Whitmore developed the GROW Model--one of the world's most recognized and influential coaching models.
Deborah Frieze is co-president of Berkana and launched the Berkana Exchange, a learning community of people who were “walking on” to build healthy and resilient communities. These people are the subject of her book, co-authored with Meg Wheatley, Walk Out Walk On: A Learning Journey into Communities Daring to Live the Future Now. She currently serves as a consultant, advisor and practitioner alongside numerous grassroots initiatives, both locally and abroad.
Michelle L. Reina is co-founder and CEO of The Reina Trust Building Institute and an internationally sought-after trust-building expert. Michelle has a unique ability to keenly listen to and understand the needs of organizations, leaders and individuals and for applying trust-building principles to ensure they are met. Together with her husband, Dennis S. Reina, Ph.D., she has co-authored award-winning, best-selling books including Rebuilding Trust in the Workplace: Seven Steps to Renew Confidence, Commitment and Energy.
Mallika Chopra is an author, speaker and founder and CEO of Intent.com, a website on personal, social and global wellness. She understands how to harness the power of intention through social media, and to connect people from around the world to improve their own lives, their communities and the planet. She helps other to see the distinction between an intention and a goal, and importance of intention as a spiritual and aspirational component of a goal. She is the daughter of Deepak Chopra.
