What Our Communication Director Does

The communication director is responsible for communications within the chapter.

The communication director's ongoing responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage compilation and dissemination News & Notes, a twice-monthly e-mail that includes announcements of upcoming events, awards, deadlines and other chapter news.
  • Serve as managing editor of Learning, the chapter's quarterly publication that includes content such as academic-style articles about coaching and coaching-related book reviews, artwork, poetry and inspirations. Published February, May, August, November. Solicit contributions and oversee team of contributors and editors.
  • Coordinate with communications representatives for specific events, including Prism Award and the Capital Coaches Conference.
