What Our Community Outreach Director Does
The community outreach director is responsible for creating and expanding the exposure and awareness of coaching to the community. This position is responsible for establishing connections within the community to educate the general public or develop pro-bono coaching opportunities.
The community outreach director’s ongoing responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Identify potential community service projects.
- Present various projects to the board of directors.
- Establish relationships with the community service organization.
- Recruit members to participate in the project.
- Work with publicity to gain exposure for the project.
- Coordinate chapter activities for the annual ICF Coach Week.
