What Our Secretary Does

The secretary keeps the formal records and takes the minutes at Board meetings. The secretary also takes on the responsibility of corresponding with parent ICF organization.

The secretary’s ongoing responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Keep copies of all records, including meeting minutes, correspondences, forms, meeting attendance lists and official documents.
  • Manage the annual election process, including call for candidates, notice of election, ballots and results.
  • Arrange for mailings and official correspondence.
  • Perform other duties and have authority as shall from time to time be assigned by the president of the board of directors.
  • Maintain a record of all bylaws, past and present.
  • Oversee content of the chapter website in conjunction with other board members.
