About the presenters:
Amy Warshawsky was a mentor coach and faculty member in the ADAPT Health Coach Training Program, founder of Feel Alive in Your Body and co-founder of BNA Mentor Coaching. She has helped many individuals and groups across a wide variety of industries strategize next steps in their professional and personal lives, transition with clarity and ease, and express themselves with resolve as they stand certain and strong in their beliefs.
Amy has held numerous corporate, not-for-profit and coaching positions over the past 25 years, including those in major community events planning, marketing and public relations. In addition to working with private, corporate and group coaching clients, she was an Adjunct Professor at Bloomfield College in New Jersey and led a pro-bono coaching initiative for the International Coach Federation Foundation. She has an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a Masters in Journalism from Northwestern University.
As a Black Belt Instructor of The Nia Technique and other movement modalities, including self defense, she specializes the concept of embodiment for coaches.
Betsy Salkind was a faculty member in the ADAPT Health Coach Training Program, where she served as Associate Director, Lead Mentor Coach and Assessor. She holds certifications from the International Coach Federation, National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches, The Mayo Clinic and ADAPT. She co-founded BNA Mentor Coaching and works in private practice as a mentor, business and health coach. She was previously a health coach for a telemedicine company serving both corporate employees and direct subscribers.
Before becoming a coach, Betsy worked for decades as a professional stand-up comedian (and still does!) [credits include: Tonight Show with Jay Leno, SHOWTIME’s Fierce Funny Women] and television writer [credits include: Roseanne, Saturday Night Special]. She has an undergraduate degree from MIT and a Master’s degree in Organization Studies from the Sloan School of Management. Betsy has taught health empowerment courses for high school students and improvisation at MIT, Emerson College, AMDA, group homes, corporations, and specifically for coaches. Betsy believes creativity, curiosity, and humor are essential to great coaching and teaching, and she strives always to bring them to the work she does.
