Program Description:
Many professionals struggle with Impostor Phenomenon, doubting their success despite clear evidence of competence. First studied in the 1970s, IP is now commonly called Impostor Syndrome. For executive coaches, recognizing IP’s impact on clients’ confidence, leadership, and career progression is essential. This session, led by seasoned executive coach Susan Hahn, provides research-backed tools for clients to identify and overcome IP. Attendees will explore an IP assessment, gain strategies to foster resilience and self-assurance, and learn to guide clients toward lasting confidence. Personal insights and coaching techniques will empower coaches to lead clients with authenticity and impact.

-Understand the Impact of Impostor Phenomenon (IP) on High-Achieving Professionals: Explore the psychological roots of IP, its prevalence among executives and leaders, and its effects on confidence, leadership effectiveness, and career progression.

About Susan Hahn, PCC:
Susan Hahn is the Founder and CEO of Swan Consulting Group, specializing in executive and physician leadership coaching, mediation, and training. For 10+ years Susan was an active member, speaker, and board member for CHRA. Before establishing Swan Consulting Group in 2001, Susan spent 23 years in executive leadership roles, most notably serving as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of a Behavioral Health System. For over two decades, Susan has been deeply engaged in studying the Impostor Phenomenon. She collaborated with three research scholars to examine gender differences in experiencing this phenomenon. Today, Susan joins us to share valuable insights into the Impostor Phenomenon, including two personal stories about her own journey in overcoming it.
