Biography
I am James Lewis, founder of Fail4ward, a leadership and executive coaching practice based in Montgomery County, Maryland. I grew up in West Baltimore, where I learned early that failure is not the end of the story. It is information, and what you do with it determines what comes next.
I have spent more than 20 years leading in real estate development, strategic sales, healthcare, and business consulting. I have built teams, missed targets, rebuilt, and learned what actually holds up under pressure. Today I coach executives, middle managers, and their teams across the private sector, public sector, and government. My clients learn to lead with clarity, build resilience, and perform at a high standard without carrying the weight alone.
My work rests on four values: Faith, Fortitude, High Excellence, and Impact. I serve as a guide, not a savior. My clients do the work, and I help them see the path more clearly.
I am a tru® Certified Coach and ICF Member, and I hold a master's degree. I also serve as Partner and Director of Business Development at Aedis Title, where I work alongside real estate investors across the DMV.
