Biography
Marykate Dougherty is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Project Management Professional (PMP) with over thirty years of experience in the private, nonprofit, and government sectors as a program/project manager, consultant, and director. She began her international work as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Uzbekistan and has completed projects in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and throughout the Western Hemisphere. She holds a master's degree in human resource development from George Washington University. When not working, she enjoys the outdoors, is a member of Arlington's Community Emergency Response Team, and has been active in community efforts, including serving as a foster parent, and a board member of the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia.
