L Seabrook
L'Lorenzo Seabrook, PCC, President
L’Lorenzo’s background includes nearly three decades of military service. In 2012, a close friend told L’Lorenzo his skills was complementary to that of a coach. Shortly thereafter, L’Lorenzo started his coaching journey and has provided extensive services across multiple federal agencies where he is routinely asked to provide continuous services because of his impact. L’Lorenzo joined the ICF Metro DC Chapter in 2013 and has twice served on the Capital Coaches Conference committee and as Chair of the Communications Committee.

L’Lorenzo is a graduate of George Mason’s Leadership Coaching Program, Team Coaching International Team coaching programs, and Newfield Network Foundation of Ontological Coaching programs. He holds a graduate degree in business and is currently pursuing a doctorate in education focusing on leadership. He is an International Coaching Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC).

Coaching Focus
L ’Lorenzo’s primary coaching focus is Executive leadership coaching. He also specializes in training facilitation and team coaching.

William Bryson, M.Jur., PCC, President-Elect

William is a distinguished veteran leader with more than 20 years of experience in the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense, including a prestigious Executive Development assignment at the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (ODASD, I2E). His career is defined by progressive achievement: from commanding troops in Iraq—where he was awarded the Bronze Star—to leading multi-billion-dollar acquisition and logistics programs.

William holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coaching Federation, earned through Flatter Leadership Academy.


William holds a Master of Jurisprudence (M.Jur.) in Risk Management Law from Texas A&M University School of Law. This academic foundation underscores his commitment to principled, legally sound leadership.


Coaching Focus

William’s primary coaching focus is Executive Leadership and Strategic Performance Coaching. He specializes in helping leaders navigate high-stakes environments, advising on risk management, and enhancing decision-making under pressure. His practice is uniquely informed by his background in national security and complex, mission-critical logistics. 

William believes that effective leadership requires a fusion of rigorous strategic thinking and profound self-awareness. He is dedicated to empowering leaders to align their personal purpose with professional strategy, excel, adapt, and lead with clarity in today’s most demanding landscape


M Reid
Malva Daniel Reid, Ph.D., MA, PCC, Immediate Past President 
Malva is a seasoned executive who has worked in government, academia, and the private sector. Her career started in government before she moved to academia to work in a technical training program. Malva then became an executive with the railroad for 27 years, serving employees directly and developing a successful national drug and alcohol program which included peer prevention, training, coaching, and testing. She then moved back to higher education and presently serves as an Assistant Chief Academic Officer. Concurrently, Malva has been president of a coaching and consulting firm in the DC area for more than 20 years.  

Malva joined the ICF Metro DC Chapter in 2018 and has served on the Membership Committee, the 2020 CCC Program Committee, and as a co-chair of the 2022 and 2024 Capital Coaches Conferences.


Credentials
Malva graduated from the Co-Active Training Institute. She is an International Coaching Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC). She holds an MA and PhD in Developmental Psychology from Howard University.

Coaching Focus
Malva’s coaching practice focuses on career, leadership, and executive coaching. Her “sweet spot” is helping people show up as their best selves at job interviews and in the workplace. She loves reading, traveling, and walking 10,000 steps a day. Her passion is giving back to the community.

Caroline Wu Beloe, PCC, MDM, Treasurer

Caroline Wu Beloe is a  leadership coach with over 11 years of coaching practice, grounded in more than 20 years of international business experience across China, Singapore, the Philippines, and the United States. Before becoming a coach, Caroline held senior leadership roles in corporate banking, consulting, and retail. Her background enables her to bring strong business acumen and a cross-cultural perspective to her coaching. She is committed to supporting leaders as they step into expanded roles, navigate complexity and uncertainty, and create sustainable, positive impact.

Caroline is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and a Certified Clean Language Facilitator. She completed her Coach Training with the International Coach Academy (Australia), where she now serves as a faculty member, mentor coach, and assessor. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Management. She is also a certified mindfulness teacher (MMTCP & MBSR).


Coaching Focus

Caroline specializes in navigating uncertainty and mindful communication coaching. She uses simple, non-judgmental questions to support leaders in exploring their inner experience and gaining insight. This approach enables leaders to think more creatively, work effectively with complexity, and develop strategies suited to fast-changing business environments. Through mindful communication coaching, Caroline helps executives strengthen presence, communicate with clarity, and lead with confidence—particularly during periods of transition and growth.

Beth Stiner, ACTC, PCC, Secretary

Beth is an experienced executive leader and seasoned professional coach with expertise in organizational development, team effectiveness, change management and human resources. She thrives on working with individuals, teams, and organizations who are continuously striving to be stronger, better, and healthier.

Beth has over twenty years’ experience as a leader, consultant and coach in healthcare, construction, hospitality, academic medicine, fast food, retail and government. Her roles have ranged from leading talent strategy development for a fast growing start up to a Vice President of Human Resources at a $6B healthcare organization with 50,000 employees where she led the culture and change integration strategy following a $1B acquisition. Having led large scale changes first-hand, she is the ideal partner for leaders looking to take their teams and organizations to new levels of performance.

In addition to serving as Secretary, Beth is the Chair of the Strategic Partnerships Committee.

Beth holds her Team Coaching Credential (ACTC) and Professional Coaching Certification (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation and has been coaching since 2008. She holds a master’s degree in Organizational Development and a bachelor's in Communication.

Coaching Focus

Beth works with leaders and their teams for 9–12-month engagements, focusing on alignment and connection within the team, increasing their impact and the value they bring to those they serve. In addition to coaching individuals and teams, Beth has built internal coaching programs for organizations, taught as faculty in coaching programs, managed individual coach cohorts of over 400 coaches, and developed award winning coaching strategies and programs, recognized by ICF state and international organizations.




Sonya Atkinson, PCC, Board Member
Sonya is a dedicated educator, coach, facilitator, and mentor coach with over 20 years of experience working in education with the last 12 years working as both an internal and external coach.  She operates her own coaching practice, and privately contracts year-round as a coach trainer with three separate ICF-sanctioned coaching programs. Sonya joined the ICF Metro DC Board in 2024 and chairs the chapter's Learning & Development Committee. She also co-facilitates the Coaching Dojo, an opportunity for coaches to engage in practice coaching with the benefit of peer and Mentor Coach support.

Credentials
Sonya completed her inaugural coaching training with JST Coaching & Training. She has pursued continuing education in coaching training in the areas of Learning & Attention Disorders, ADHD & Executive Function Deficits, Neurodiversities, Emotional Intelligence, Positive Intelligence, Positive Psychology, Attachment Styles, and the Enneagram of Personality. Sonya holds a PCC coaching credential with the International Coaching Federation and works diligently to maintain that credential. 

Coaching Focus

Sonya has her own private coaching, facilitation, and mentor coaching business which specializes in Personal Development Coaching.  She focuses on helping individuals understand the why beneath the habitual patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that keep them stuck in life and no longer serve them.


Kate Doherty, MSOD, MEd, PCC, Board Member

Kate’s leadership career spans 30 years in global social justice organizations focused on women’s rights and worker rights. She has been privileged to have lifelong work that reflected her personal values and beliefs. Across a variety of leadership roles, Kate has sought clarity around organizational vision and mission and alignment of strategies, goals and program. She sees leadership coaching as an integral part of intentional change management. Her coaching work is grounded in the client’s values and purpose as a key to opening possibilities.

Kate joined ICF Metro DC in 2014. She connected with the Pro Bono Committee first as a volunteer coach and joined as a committee member five years ago. She appreciates being able to give back through service to many fine organizations in our community, and loves working with our pro bono coaches. Kate now serves as Chair of the Pro Bono Committee.

Kate holds masters’ degrees in organization development (AU/NTL) and training and development (GMU). She graduated from the Leadership Coaching Program at Georgetown University. She is an International Coaching Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC).

Coaching Focus

Kate loves working with new executives taking on great challenges, when they have the luxury of reflecting on who and how they want to be in their new roles and what they want to create with and for their organizations. She also enjoys working with emerging leaders in that formative space in their careers, and with later career clients contemplating bold next steps.

Nicoletta Pichardo, PCC, Board Member

Nicoletta is on a mission to empower purpose-driven entrepreneurs. She noticed their incredible potential and struggles of stepping into the spotlight boldly. Self-doubt, fear, and limiting beliefs can get in the way of creating greater success in all areas of life, especially in business. The right mindset is critical in balancing the rigorous demands of building a business while maintaining a family/personal life and ensuring self-care. As an entrepreneur and mother, Nicoletta intimately understands these challenges, which can lead to stress, burnout, and missed opportunities. She is determined to make a difference and is committed to coaching entrepreneurs to create a powerful impact, elevate income, and attain freedom. Complementing her academic and professional achievements, Nicoletta has played pivotal roles in leadership, including serving on a mid-size international non-profit board. Based in the DMV since 2005, this Munich native thrives on exploration, often working remotely from exciting destinations. When she is not working, you will find her spending time with her amazing kids, hiking, and traveling.

Nicoletta embarked on her academic journey at the University of Maryland, Munich Germany, and later pursued her studies at the University of Texas, achieving a B.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. with a focus on Counseling. In 2009, she entered the field of coaching, obtaining her CPC through iPEC. She holds the designation of ELI Master Practitioner, an attitudinal leadership assessment. Additionally, she holds certifications as Master Neurolinguistic Practitioner and Certified Parent Educator. She holds the ICF - PCC Certification and provides coaching in English and German language. Within the ICF-DC Community, she started and ran the Bethesda Chevy Chase Coaches Coffee and served on the speaker section committee for the Capital Coaches Conference. Nicoletta now serves as Chair of the Coaches Coffee Committee.

Nicoletta is passionate about supporting purpose driven business owners and entrepreneurs, guiding them in building unshakable self-trust and nurturing the five key relationships crucial for success both in business and in life. With a firm belief in the strength of community, she also helps teams to become better communicators and collaborators. 

Lisa Spinelli, PCC, Board Member
Lisa absolutely adores people and believes we all have gifts, stories and light to bring to the world, which is why she loves coaching others. Lisa is a sought-after coach, facilitator and entrepreneur who left her full-time, director-level job in 2023 to start her own business, Blue Pinecone Consulting LLC, a certified woman-owned small business and government contractor that provides training and coaching services. She is also the host of the local TV show, Job Hunt DC and author/editor of the book Teachers to Trainers. She has also been serving as the Chair for the GMU Coaching Alumni Committee since 2022.  Prior to coaching and her L&D work, Lisa was a journalist and communications professional for 15 years.

On the Board, Lisa serves as Chair of the Capital Coaches Conference and its committee.

Lisa graduated from the George Mason University Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being program in 2021 and has since obtained PCC status. She is also a DiSC partner and Smart Growth Advisor. Lisa also holds an MS in Journalism from Columbia University and BA in English from the University of Virginia. 

Coaching Focus
Lisa's coaching practice focuses on career and leadership development and authentic communication. She uses the co-active coaching model to cultivate a safe and empathetic space for her clients so they can deep-dive fearlessly into their values and leadership practices. Lisa draws acute awareness to her clients' communications techniques and isn't afraid to challenge her clients. She is known for her ability to engage her clients in a deeper level of self-awareness and create their own action plans to move forward with their goals.


Anne Terry, ACC, Board Member
Anne spent the formative years of her career at the Advisory Board and Optum, where she developed and launched new product offerings, ran survey-based research, and coached leadership teams through change in the healthcare, technology, digital content, and services sectors. Anne also spent over a decade helping organizations sustain strong employee engagement and shift from a default culture to one that intentionally attracts, retains, and inspires strategy-aligned talent. This career arc culminated in leading organizational transformations as a VP of Strategy and Transformation. She launched her coaching and strategy consulting practice in 2023.

Anne joined the ICF Metro DC Chapter in 2023 and served on the Membership Committee, spearheading the 2024 member feedback survey. She is also a regular at the Capitol Hill Coaches Coffee. She now serves as Chair of the Membership Committee.

Anne completed her coaching training at Georgetown University. She is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Anne holds an Sc. B in Biology from Brown University.

Coaching Focus
Anne focuses on leadership and executive coaching. She particularly shines at helping people navigate and lead through massive organizational change. Among other things, Anne is an abstract painter, accomplished baker, Dungeons and Dragons enthusiast, and parent to an elementary schooler, all of which infuse her work with creativity, play, and experimentation. 


Brooke B
Brooke L. Brzozowske, PCC, Board Member

Brooke is a Leadership and Communication Coach and the Founder of Up Until Now Coaching. She helps leaders find and trust their own voice, using story as a way to clarify what matters and how they want to show up when the stakes are high. Her work sits at the intersection of leadership, language, and lived experience.

She brings nearly two decades of experience in public service and advisory roles, spanning national institutions, higher education, athletics, law enforcement, military family organizations, and industry. A veteran of both active duty and reserve military service, Brooke brings a service-oriented perspective shaped by high-stakes environments, cross-cultural leadership, and a belief that clarity comes from alignment rather than performance.

Brooke earned her Executive Leadership Coaching Certification from Georgetown University and holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coaching Federation. She is also a Certified Change Management Specialist, an iEQ9 Enneagram Certified Practitioner, an ICF Mentor Coach, and a Presence-Based Leadership Coach.

Brooke coaches leaders at moments when clarity cannot be performative. Her approach blends strategic communication with coaching presence, helping leaders articulate their stories, align values with action, and lead in ways that feel grounded, credible, and human.


Reggie

Reginald G. Jackson, Sr., PCC, ESIA, Board Member

Reginald is a former federal employee and Marine Corps veteran with a combined service of 34 years. His leadership experience and training has afforded him the ability to effectively zero in on what will elevate the coaching experience from transactional to transformational. He’s also able to effectively generate a space for reflection and introspection that leads to life-changing results; positively impacting his clients, the people they lead, and the organization at large. The foundation of his coaching philosophy is to help his clients Turn chaos into clarity through systems and processes.


Credentials

Reginald’s coaching journey began as a 2014 graduate of Accomplishment Coaching, an ICF accredited ontological coach training program. After successfully completing the Goldvarg Coaching Group’s Coaching Supervision certification in 2022, he subsequently earned his accreditation as a Senior Practitioner (EIA) and Individual Supervisor (ESIA) from the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC). He is currently a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentialed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). His academic achievements include a master’s degree in Philosophy from Walden University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University.


Coaching Focus

Reginald’s clients range from emerging leaders to senior executives in both the public and private sectors. The areas of leadership development his clients request most often are transitioning from individual contributor to “people manager”, enhancing their communication skills, building highly effective teams, and organizational change management. Reginald is sought after as a workshop facilitator, panelist, and keynote speaker. As a way of giving back to the coaching community, he serves as a coach educator, mentor coach and coach supervisor.

TL Green

TL Green, Board Member

TL Green, ICF Certified Transitional Life Coach and Founder of Holistically Original, LLC, brings a holistic, service-centered approach to coaching rooted in over two decades of customer service and relationship-building experience. These highly transferable skills, combined with unforeseen circumstances brought on by the global pandemic, led TL to intentionally transition into the coaching profession, where she now partners with individuals—particularly executive-level clients—navigating career transitions, leadership challenges, and life balance. 


Credentials

TL is an active member of the ICF Metro DC Chapter, which she joined in 2022, and has contributed meaningfully through service on the Membership, Learning and Development, and Pro Bono committees. A proud graduate of Morgan State University and alumna of the Core Essentials Fast Track Program at Coach U, TL is an engaged ICF DC Metro coach currently on the path toward ACC credentialing.
